Well aren’t you just lucky that you stumbled across the new Artery Magazine website!
We’ve maintained the same look and feel that was inspired by the our first locale, including the lined paper posts. However, this more robust version includes, receipt tape, newspaper clippings and vintage playing cards. The playing card scroller works by clicking and dragging the more / less bar from one side to the other, enabling you to read the most recent six posts – we know, sheer genius. As a new post appears, the last will be archived in the appropriate sections: arts, music, events, features. These posts are also searchable by month on the internal pages. Most of the archived posts are already there, but don’t panic if you don’t see yours, these things take time you know.
Additionally, you will now be able to leave comments! We’re going to go ahead and encourage additional links to the artist or their work, nice remarks, constructive feedback or even event invitations. But as the editors, we’ll slice and dice your ass if the comments are discriminatory, spam-ish or unnecessarily demeaning. Yeah, we do have that right because it’s just not the vibe we have going.
Lastly, and most importantly, advertising. Sell your self, sell your work, just don’t sell your wife. As a new-site-blue-light-special, we’re selling home page advertising for $30 a pop for the first month, and we’ll even make the ad for you!
