If you you find yourself out and about looking for a good time, head on over to Nobody’s Art Center on the corner of Elmwood and Forrest for an Infringement Festival benefit party. For the price you choose, enjoy a night of live entertainment by Claire Fornarola, Sonny Baker, Khiema, Mock Syringa, I am the Scarecrow and Dick Whiskey, prizes, raffles and even a t-shirt making station. You’ll fill a Friday void while helping raise money for Buffalo’s popular summer festival.

Every end of July, the streets of Allentown come alive with scores of events by local and visiting theater and dance companies, puppeteers, media artists, poets, comics, musicians, cabaret acts, and virtual reality designers. The annual Buffalo Infringement Festival provides artists and audiences of all backgrounds the chance to come together, take chances, push boundaries, and explore uncharted territory in venues around the district with grassroots experimental, eclectic and improvisational art. This eleven day event takes place this year from Thursday, July 23 til Sunday, August 2.

If you’re interested in doing more than just donating, you’re screwed because they don’t tell you how to join in on the fun anywhere. Attend this event and look for Josh Smith, he’s the insurrectionist in the corner.
