Saturday night, we drove out to Williamsville’s Club Infinity to see our favorite mathcore band rip the stage. The Dillinger Escape Plan convened the night with heavy fog and techno–esque lighting at the former country sap and line-dancing venue.

I believe Thomas Stender to be one of those people that do not need other people, but need the element of creation to survive. He designs provocative and humorous furniture that also functions on a level of comfort and personal aesthetic. Each piece is formed out of the way the wood itself is dimensioned.

This past weekend, we took our Cleveland friends exploring on Hertel Avenue, a treat for us as well. We become easily trapped in the small corner of the world called Elmwood Avenue and don’t often realize that there is a whole world full of AFFORDABLE things only a few miles north.
